GATEWAY DREAM CENTER MEN
FOUR-MONTH RESIDENTIAL INTENSIVE RECOVERY PROGRAM

THE HEART OF THE MEN’S PROGRAM

Gateway Dream Center Men provides a four-month residential intensive recovery program focused on experiencing freedom from addiction and alcoholism through a Christ centered program with practical application.

Alcohol and drug addiction can take hold of a man’s life, damaging his life, relationships, family, and future. Through Christ-centered discipleship, classes, coping and life skills, and a deeply supportive and safe environment, men are given the opportunity to heal, confront destructive patterns, and learn a new way of living through the power of Jesus Christ and the process of change.

Gateway Dream Center provides the environment, structure, support, tools, and opportunity.
Each man must bring the willingness, honesty, responsibility, and commitment to participate fully in his recovery.

WHO IS THE MEN’S PROGRAM FOR?
The program is for men whose lives and loved ones are being harmed by alcohol or drug addiction and who are ready to commit to a structured, intensive recovery environment.
There is no required recovery path before applying. A man may be seeking help for the first time, returning after a relapse, or recognizing that his current level of support is not enough.
What matters is his willingness to step away from destructive influences, accept accountability, and fully engage in four months of recovery, healing, and personal growth.
Although intensive in its structure and recovery focus, Gateway Dream Center is not a detoxification facility, medical facility, psychiatric facility, or licensed clinical treatment provider. It is not an emergency shelter or homeless shelter. Admission is based on the applicant’s recovery needs, readiness to participate, and whether GDC can appropriately support him.

BASIC ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must:
• Have a genuine desire to overcome alcohol or drug addiction and develop a healthy, responsible way of life.
• Commit to participating in the full four-month residential intensive recovery program.
• Be willing to live free from alcohol and prohibited drugs or substances.
• Be willing to participate in Christ-centered discipleship, classes, recovery activities, and the daily program schedule.
• Be ready to receive guidance, accept accountability, and address behaviors and patterns that undermine recovery.
• Be able to independently manage basic activities of daily living within the level of support GDC provides.
• Be able to participate in essential program activities, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
• Be willing to obtain missing identification and personal documents needed for future employment and housing.
• Disclose medical, mental-health, and legal circumstances that could affect safe participation.
• Be willing and able to live respectfully and safely in a shared residential environment.
• Agree to follow all Gateway Dream Center policies, program requirements, and community standards.
Applicants who need detoxification, withdrawal management, or medical stabilization must receive those services through an appropriate provider before admission.
